Located within the Cultural Handicraft Complex, the State Museum is built entirely of wood with fine carvings and is a fine example of the typical Minangkabau architecture. It displays a rich collection of various historical artifacts including ancient tools, weapons, brass objects, silverware, as well as traditional costumes and jewellery.

Nice photos. Keep it up.

what a view!

tall pine trees
Situated in the state of Perak, Malaysia, Taiping Lake Gardens is famous for its row of raintrees lined up along the road. It is a peaceful and serene park, ideal for a casual stroll, morning walks, jogging tracks with exercise stations dotted around the park. The trees here are many decades old, reflected on the surface of the mirror-like lake.

The famous floating market in Thailand, Damnoen Saduak or locally known as Klong Latphli Floating Market, is located about 110km west of Bangkok. Hundreds of vendor boats crowd the market area, mostly paddled by women in Thai style hats called NGOP, selling everything from vegetables and fruits to wooden carvings, clothes, hats and handbags, to freshly-cooked noodles or sweets.

This bridge showcases the magnificent architecture of what steel can do. From any angle, bottom or top view, its design elements are aesthetically pleasing. It is perhaps one of the most photographed bridges in Putrajaya, overlooking the lake and the government official buildings in the area.

Kampung life at Sekinchan

View all 4 photos...
This is the home of the padi farmer and his family. A simple, Malay kampung house made of wood with a zinc roof. That's his tractor parked upfront. He also plants his own crops of vegetables, and rears chickens. There's not much entertainment here for his children, so they usually hang around the front yard playing their own games.
